Pee Wee (4.33 / 3) (#5)
by mollyguppy on Wed Jan 15, 2003 at 02:42:53 PM PST

I have a 10 gallon fish tank, with at presant potbellied mollys and micky mouse fish. Previously I had some guppies but unfortunately they died off. A few weeks after they died off we noticed three little babies in our tank. I wasn't sure if they were mollys or guppies but as they got bigger or didn't get bigger we assumed they were guppies. How ever now that they are at their full maturity they have the length and coloration of a guppy however they have pot bellies on them. So my conclusion is that they are a cross breed. I do believe it is possible. Angela

If you could ever post pics, that would be quite helpful, but it sounds like you struck cross-breed gold.  Are they otherwise healthy fish?
